Experience kiwi camping & become a local.

We have 64 powered sites and an abundance of tent sites.  The camping ground is open from 1st October (when the fishing season starts) until the 30th of April each year.  

 

There's a fully equipped kitchen dining area with two full stoves, microwaves, pots, utensils, and a shared fridge/freezer.  There is a separate men's and lady's shower and toilet block. Full laundry with coin-operated automatic machines and a dryer.  No dogs or pets, please.

The Waikaia Camping Ground is the active relaxers paradise. Within a short walk you can be at the river, golf course, tennis court, or pub.. take your pick.  Try your luck at gold panning then explore the history of the town in the Switzers Museum.

 

You will leave the valley richer for your stay.
